Mogán's business fabric is diversifying: the ranking of the most solvent companies

The municipality of Mogán, the epicenter of tourism development in southern Gran Canaria, is consolidating its economic strength through a business directory that reflects the growing specialization of its limited liability companies. The current registry of local businesses shows a predominant presence of entities dedicated to the management of accommodation assets, nightlife, and the operation of services in strategic areas such as Playa de Mogán, Puerto Rico, and Amadores. Among the companies that form the backbone of the hotel sector, Amadores Aparthotel SL stands out as a key player in the provision of quality accommodation on one of the most sought-after cliffs in the area.

The diversification of the service sector is evident in the high-value-added restaurant and leisure sectors. Companies like Stratton River Club SL, Barrapesca SL, and Café de Mogán SL exemplify the commitment to gastronomic and entertainment concepts aimed at attracting European tourist spending. This ecosystem also includes firms focused on experience and brand management, such as Dajisi Image (owned by footballer David Silva, with €25 million in share capital) and the Nordic company Cervus Enterprise SL, as well as entities linked to nautical activities and the exploitation of marine resources, represented by Aquatribe SL and Mar Abierto SL, the latter currently being dissolved.

Beyond mass tourism, the Mogán business directory reveals significant industrial and logistical activities. A prime example is Tauro Export SL, whose name reflects the export of products from the Tauro Valley. Furthermore, investment in infrastructure and specialized supplies is evident in the presence of Elite Pavan SL, while companies like Crown Premium Group SL and Lorimar Sur (Tomás Lorenzo) suggest a holding company structure or the management of business groups operating across the island's south.

Local development is based on companies with strong geographical roots, such as Lomoquiebre SL, directly linked to one of the historic residential neighborhoods of Puerto de Mogán. This corporate landscape is completed by entities like Kurtprotion SL and ATR Tuno Indio Global SL, the latter with a name that evokes local products and their marketing under innovative principles. Together, these fifteen companies selected from the Las Palmas provincial directory define a Mogán that, while still dependent on sun and sand, is increasingly professionalizing its corporate structure to meet the challenges of the global market.
