MASPALOMAS INTERNATIONAL CARNIVAL PROGRAM 2026

The party in Maspalomas doesn't stop. On Saturday morning, Tirajana Avenue witnessed the massive children's parade, where the smiles and dancing of the youngest members of the family filled the entire route with joy, which ended near the Yumbo Shopping Centre.

The Children's Parade is now a firmly established event of the southern carnival and is becoming an unmissable occasion for families from all over the island, as well as for thousands of tourists. The parade featured an exceptional turnout of groups that filled the route with color, notably the Lianceiros Junior and Yurimagua troupes, and the rhythmic Paixao and Caribe percussion groups. The future of carnival was represented by the Los Trapasitos murga group and the Chachitos group, while elegance was brought by the floats of the Carnival Queen and her Court of Honor, composed of the two first runners-up, all preceded by the traditional train of children's characters.

Saturday's festivities continued with the highly anticipated Family Carnival, strategically designed so that residents and children could enjoy themselves without the constraints of the school calendar. Between 14:00 p.m. and 20:00 p.m., the main stage vibrated with a top-tier international lineup that had all generations dancing. The energy of Tony Tun Tun, Miriam Cruz, and Fulanito brought the most iconic Latin rhythms to the heart of the celebration, a top-notch musical offering that was complemented by a performance from the orchestra El Combo Dominicano and the talent of DJ Tony Bob, ensuring an unforgettable experience for the audience.

This series of events, culminating on Saturday with the Gran Mogollón at 23:00 PM, reaffirms San Bartolomé de Tirajana's commitment to economic development and the promotion of its traditions. Councilwoman Yilenia Vega highlighted the effort to make this edition the most inclusive to date, ensuring that Maspalomas becomes a destination where hospitality and the magic of the circus create unforgettable memories for tourists and residents alike. With these initiatives, the municipality projects a cutting-edge image in the management of large-scale events, guaranteeing that every visitor will want to repeat the experience in the years to come.
