A landslide on Sunday night triggered a response from emergency services due to the potential risk of people being trapped. The intervention determined that no injuries were reported after an inspection of the affected building.
A landslide that occurred around 21:00 p.m. in Cercados de Espino, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, prompted the activation of emergency services after affecting a house in the area. The incident raised concerns about the possibility that people were inside the house at the time of the landslide.
Firefighters from the Puerto Rico fire station were dispatched to the scene and began inspection and search operations inside the building, focused on locating possible occupants and ensuring the safety of the affected structure.
