The International Sea Fair celebrates its 15th edition at the Sanapú dock in the capital of Gran Canaria, from May 22nd to 24th

Nautical activities, the marine and maritime sector, the port environment, fashion and water sports, among other activities, are joining the event

The International Sea Fair will once again bring together the main players in the blue economy in the Canary Islands, in its 15th edition, which will take place at the Sanapú dock in the capital of Gran Canaria, from May 22 to 24.

Fimar is still accepting exhibitor registrations for an event featuring a significant presence of companies and operators from the nautical, fashion, marine and maritime sectors, port environments, and water sports industries, among other ocean-related activities. Registration can be accessed via the following link: https://feriainternacionaldelmar.com/formulario-expositores.

The International Sea Fair is an event promoted by the Gran Canaria Island Council and the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council, and Ports of Las Palmas, and organized by Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria and the City of the Sea Council of the Gran Canaria capital.

The exhibition offer

This new edition of the fair will once again showcase to the public the latest trends in sports boats on the market, fashion and accessories related to water activities, equipment and technology designed for the marine, maritime and port ecosystem, featured items for the practice of different water sports disciplines or specific insurance for activities linked to the sea.

All of this in a single, ideal space for doing business, buying and selling products, and establishing commercial relationships and synergies. But it's also a space to capture the audience's attention on issues such as ocean environmental protection, the sustainable development of the blue economy, maritime safety, academic and training programs related to the marine environment, and ways to learn about, access, and practice different water sports.

Hence, the exhibitors at Fimar include important companies and operators in this segment, but also public and academic institutions, sports clubs and training centers, all of which are essential to sustain an economic activity that is already consolidated in the islands, and which has found its reference meeting point in the fair every year.

2026 edition

It should be remembered that the International Sea Fair is dedicating this edition to the theme Outermost Regionsrich and the Sea, to highlight the strategic role of territories such as the Canary Islands in the development of the blue economy, marine innovation and Atlantic cooperation.

Furthermore, Fimar 2026 will promote Gran Canaria as a Starlight Destination, highlighting the island's ideal conditions for stargazing. The fair thus connects the sea with the stars, in a celebration of the environment that defines the island's character.

Furthermore, this year's Fimar will feature its usual program of water demonstrations and nautical activities open to the public, all within a setting that includes spaces designed for family outdoor recreation. A significant section will also be dedicated to promoting ocean awareness and scientific understanding of the environment, a hallmark of the event throughout its history.
