The rectification of the extraordinary stabilization process through competitive merit-based selection, following the resolution of the Canary Islands Health Service in May 2026, which Masaplomas24H has obtained, establishes a definitive structure for Primary Care in the municipalities of San Bartolomé de Tirajana and Mogán. In a context of high healthcare demand, the General Directorate of Human Resources has formalized the appointment of the professionals who will fill the vacant entry-level positions, guaranteeing job security for staff at the strategic health centers on the southern coast of Gran Canaria.

In the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, the allocation of positions has been concentrated in the three primary healthcare zones that serve the island's highest population and tourist density. For the Maspalomas zone, the final list of successful candidates includes Fátima Naranjo Naranjo, María Dolores Santana Hernández, Lidia Rosa Domínguez González, Dunia María Pérez Cabrera, Ignacio Manuel Perera Molinero, Fayna Quintana González, María José Morales Ramos, Sonia Isabel Arévalo San Román, and Luz María Suárez Sánchez. These physicians have secured their positions in this key area of southern Tenerife, based on direct allocation due to prior appointments.

The San Fernando de Maspalomas health district is also seeing a strengthening of its medical team. The officially assigned professionals are Rosa María Perdomo Hernández, Ángela María Alemán Falcón, Francisco Javier Martínez García, María Del Cristo González Marrero, Ignacio González Valcárcel, Yolanda María García Falcón, María Candelaria Valido Alonso, and Beatriz Elena Delgado Brito. This group assumes responsibility for healthcare in one of the areas with the highest number of registered patients in the region, bringing to a close a prolonged period of interim staffing.

In the interior and higher elevations of the municipality, specifically within the Santa Brígida-San Mateo Health Zone (which administratively manages adjacent areas) and the Tirajana Health Zone, the appointments of María Elena Santana Santana, José Francisco García Ramos, and Marta María López Valdivielso have been confirmed. This assignment aims to provide stability to family medicine in rural and mid-altitude areas, where continuity of care is critical for the quality of service.

In the municipality of Mogán, the resolution affects the two primary care centers that manage the southwest of the island. In the Arguineguín health district, the final awardees are Pedro Manuel Hernández Sánchez, María Jesús Trujillo Ruano, Inmaculada Concepción Gil Arbelo, and Gustavo Adolfo Marrero García. Meanwhile, the Mogán town health district and adjacent coastal areas will be managed by Raquel María Díaz Ramos and Antonio José Martín García, ensuring medical coverage in a territory characterized by geographical dispersion and a seasonal increase in patients.

The resolution signed by José Ángel González Díaz on May 8, 2026, establishes a ten-day period for these professionals in southern Gran Canaria to formalize their acceptance or refusal. This new allocation, which supersedes previous proposals due to the assessment of resources such as that of Myriam Medina Darias or unforeseen retirements, represents the final step for San Bartolomé de Tirajana and Mogán to have a permanent staff of family doctors, mitigating personnel turnover in the most dynamic area of the archipelago.
