From May 13 to 17, the island of Gran Canaria became the setting for a transformative experience for a group of journalists from national media outlets, a press trip organized by Gran Canaria Spa, Wellness & Healthand with the collaboration of the associations Gran Canaria Natural & Active y Gran Canaria Blue.

 

Among the guests were media outlets such as Viajes National Geographic, Europa Press, Cuerpomente, VIAJAR de El Periódico, WeLife and TeleAire, with an approximate audience of more than 5 million unique users per month.

 

The meeting point and home during these days was the iconic Seaside Palm BeachA luxury establishment that invites absolute relaxation in an oasis of calm surrounded by palm trees. Located next to the Maspalomas Dunes, this establishment not only offered a unique natural setting, but also served as an example of the high-quality local cuisine that characterizes the island.

 

Tradition, thalassotherapy and the power of rest

The trip allowed the journalists to immerse themselves in Canarian tradition with a workshop on artisanal goat cheese taught by Ana's JairaThrough this activity they were able to learn firsthand about the value of local products and connect with the rural environment.

 

During another day, the group toured the organic plantation of Finca Canarias Aloe Vera Located in the stunning Fataga Valley, this guided tour allowed them to discover the cultivation process and the benefits behind this plant so closely linked to health and the island.
