This technical detail proved crucial in placing the suspect at the exact location and time of the events. Based on the evidence obtained, the officers proceeded to identify the suspect and search her belongings while she was working in a common area of the resort.
During the operation, the woman appeared visibly nervous and attempted to conceal her personal wallet among her work clothes. Inside, investigators found the electronic key used to access the victim's room, hidden alongside her personal documents and outside the designated areas for carrying work tools.
Furthermore, the investigation linked the detainee to three other similar incidents that had recently occurred at the same establishment, in which thefts of cash and jewelry had been reported. The swift police action prevented the card used from being destroyed or transferred to third parties, thus ensuring the collection of crucial evidence for the investigation.
