El choreographer y art director, Julio Viera, will teach a course on 'Musical Theatre: Broadway Jazz', of the 6 to 8 July, In Maspalomas Summer University.

Julio Viera holds a degree in classical dance from the Royal Professional Conservatory of Dance of the Community of Madrid and holds a degree in Choreography and Dance Performance Techniques from the Ministry of Education and Science.
He has worked at several companies, such as 10 & 10 Dance Spain, Cobosmika Dance Company (Germany), Darmstadt State Theatreas a soloist, assistant choreographer, and teacher. As a teacher, he has taught at the following centers: Soto el Vulcano (Italy), Carmen Senra, Karen Taft, Dance Factory, Dance Oporto, Espacio Madrid, CNC, Centro Coreográfico 10 & 10 Danza, NIC Instituto de Cine de Madrid, Spaziodanza, and Raquel Bernaola Dance Studio (Ciudad Real).
He has been a teacher in the professional training program of Contemporary dance, Lyrical Jazz y Modern jazz en Dance180º, MDC Madrid Dance Center y Victor ullate, as a tenured teacher of contemporary dance in the regulated professional classical dance training and head of studies in the Modern Dance training.
The Maspalomas Summer University is organized by the Department of Culture of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the Gran Canaria Island Council.
