La Gran Canaria Swim Week 2026 It kicked off this Wednesday in the spectacular outdoor setting of Perchel Beach ClubMarking a milestone in the event's history by uniting fashion, landscape, and international reach. The opening ceremony featured the distinguished presence of Rocío Crusset, who returned to the catwalks dazzling attendees and media after consolidating a solid career between Europe and the United States.

 

The president of the Gran Canaria Island Council, Antonio Morales, posed alongside local models such as Claudia González and Lucía Mateo, emphasizing that “Gran Canaria Swim Week represents our ability to transform creativity and unique landscapes into a tool for international projection.”For her part, Minerva Alonso, the island councilor for Economic Development, highlighted that “This event is much more than a catwalk: it is a real platform to connect Canary Islands companies with international buyers.”.

 

 

During the opening day, brands such as Damn Sweet, Gogana, Alexandra Miro y Agatha Ruiz de la PradaPresenting their Spring/Summer 2027 collections to an audience of national and international press, influencers, and fashion personalities, the event concluded with a seaside cocktail party where attendees enjoyed the exclusive atmosphere of the Atlantic setting.

 

With sixteen sponsoring brands—including Iberia Express and INMODE—Gran Canaria Swim Week reinforces its position as a global showcase for the Spanish and European textile sector.
