The company is investing more than 52 million euros in three rental developments in Mogán and San Bartolomé de Tirajana

The first phase of the residential plan will be developed in the Loma de Pino Seco urbanisation, in Arguineguín, with a complex of 59 subsidized homes, whose delivery is scheduled for the end of 2026.

In three decades, the Lopesan Group has developed more than 1.350 homes in Gran Canaria, demonstrating its contribution to social progress, as well as to improving the quality of life of families and workers in the local community.

Lopesan Group's social commitment: Housing plan in Gran Canaria until 2028

The Lopesan Group reaffirms its social commitment with the launch of an ambitious housing plan that aims to add 326 homes in the municipalities of Mogán and San Bartolomé de Tirajana by 2028. Through the development of three distinct projects, the company reinforces its involvement in job creation , collective well-being, and responds to the growing demand for optimal residential options in the main tourist centers of southern Gran Canaria.

This strategy is based on the conviction that business success must go hand in hand with social progress and an improved quality of life for the local population. By taking an active role in balancing the real estate market, the Lopesan Group transcends its traditional hotel business to promote a sustainable, cohesive, and balanced development model. In doing so, it ensures that families and workers in the south have access to modern, comfortable, and affordable housing close to their workplaces.

Initial promotion: 59 subsidized housing units in Arguineguín (Mogán)

The first major project within the plan is located in the Loma de Pino Seco residential development in Arguineguín , in the municipality of Mogán. In this strategic location, Lopesan is making steady progress towards the construction of a residential complex comprised of 59 subsidized housing units , intended entirely for regulated rental. This initiative ensures affordable prices thanks to its subsidized nature.

The project has an estimated investment of €10 million , with construction expected to be completed by the end of 2026. Future residents will enjoy modern and functional living spaces, designed with architectural principles that prioritize natural light and optimal use of space. Most units will have three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a garage, and a storage room; in addition, penthouses with two bedrooms and a terrace are planned.

The homes stand out for their open layout and spacious feel, emphasizing shared areas such as open-plan kitchens integrated with roomy living spaces. The construction standard is high: exterior spaces coexist with interior common areas reserved for residents, thus defining a high standard of living for families.

Aesthetically, the residential block combines clean lines and generous windows with white facades accented by reddish and gray chromatic details that harmonize perfectly with the coastal urban environment.

Residential expansion: Second development next to Loma de Pino Seco

The expansion continues with a second development, also located in Arguineguín (Mogán), on a plot adjacent to the initial phase within the same urban development. This new building will consist of 71 subsidized housing units, also intended for affordable rent.

The building will offer primarily two-bedroom apartments, parking spaces, storage units, and penthouse units. With a budget of approximately €12 million , Lopesan plans to begin construction after summer 2026 and complete it by December 2027.

Both developments boast a strategic location: excellent access to the GC-1 motorway, proximity to major shopping centers, and just a five-minute walk to the beach. They are also situated next to essential public amenities such as the municipal library, schools, and a local health center.

Strategic boost in San Bartolomé de Tirajana: 196 homes in Bellavista

The Lopesan Group 's ambitious housing plan is now complete with a third residential development located in the Bellavista urbanisation , within San Fernando de Maspalomas , in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana . This project includes the construction of 196 homes intended entirely for rental, thus strengthening the supply of affordable housing in southern Gran Canaria.

The planned investment for this project is around €30 million , and completion is estimated for the end of 2028. The Bellavista area is recognized as one of the main modern residential and commercial hubs in the south of the island, giving this complex exceptional appeal. Residents will enjoy immediate access to essential public services and shops, promoting a comfortable lifestyle where going without a private vehicle is simple and practical.

Proven track record: Three decades creating homes in Gran Canaria

Through these coordinated interventions, which add a total of 326 new homes to the market between Mogán and San Bartolomé de Tirajana until 2028, the Lopesan Group reinforces its identity as a Canarian company committed to local social and economic well-being.

Over the past three decades, Lopesan has developed more than 1.361 homes in Gran Canaria, prioritizing affordable housing solutions. Its activity has been strategically concentrated in key municipalities such as Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (with developments in Lomo Los Frailes and Ciudad del Campo), San Bartolomé de Tirajana (Bellavista and El Hornillo areas), and Mogán (successive phases in Arguineguín).

This historic commitment has formed a fundamental axis for the island's social and real estate progress, actively contributing to improving the quality of life for both working families and the entire local community.

Future strategy: Affordable housing and sustainability in Gran Canaria

The Lopesan Group 's central purpose with this housing plan is to facilitate access to affordable housing for the organization's workforce and to effectively respond to the real needs of both employees and the local community. This vision aligns with a strategy focused on the continuous development of new residential projects, always adhering to social and sustainable criteria.

Throughout its history, Lopesan has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving social well-being in Gran Canaria, developing housing solutions that contribute to the overall sustainability of the island's main tourist destinations. The sum of all these actions, including projects currently under construction and those planned through 2026, confirms the group's direct involvement in the island's social and economic progress.

In short, the Lopesan Group consolidates its role as a leader in affordable housing development in the Canary Islands, forming a fundamental axis for quality of life and balanced housing in key municipalities such as Mogán, San Bartolomé de Tirajana, and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Thanks to this commitment to affordable and sustainable housing, not only is the social fabric strengthened, but also the tourism and economic competitiveness of the Canary archipelago.
