A 42-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured this Thursday after falling while riding on the GC-500, at the junction with the GC-1 motorway heading north, within the municipality of Mogán. The severity of his injuries required the deployment of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) medical helicopter for his urgent transfer to the University Hospital of Gran Canaria.

 

The accident occurred at about 12:47h on the access from the GC-500 to the GC-1at the height of kilometer 56when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES 112) He received a report that a motorcyclist had fallen and required urgent medical assistance.
