La XXX Cycling Tour of Northern Gran Canaria The race faces its decisive day with a change of leader after the demanding second stage between Agaete and Teror. The 75,7-kilometer medium-mountain route toughened the race and caused a shake-up in the general classification.
The biggest beneficiary was José Antonio Redondo (Tenerife Bike Point – La Sede)Thanks to his consistency and the time bonuses he earned during the stage, he donned the yellow jersey. The stage victory went to Aimar Quintana (Eiser – Hirumet Team), although both will start the final day separated by just four seconds, keeping the excitement for the overall win alive.

The organization also highlighted the sporting growth of Gran Canaria – EKD – Bike Team, which improved its performance compared to the opening day and placed Daniel Lado as the best Canary Island cyclist in the race.
The race will conclude this Saturday with a stage of about 90 kilometers across Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and ArucasThe route features several strategic points and bonus seconds that could decide the overall classification. With minimal differences between the favorites, the 30th Vuelta Ciclista al Norte de Gran Canaria will reach its conclusion with everything still to play for.
