The media outlets Hola, Infortursa and the travel agency Godwana delve into the active nature of Gran Canaria

On July 10th, the Gran Canaria Natural & Active association organized a day of outdoor activities to showcase the island's nature, culture, and gastronomy. Spanish media outlets Hola and Infortursa, as well as Gondwana, a travel agency specializing in luxury travel, were invited.

Gran Canaria, recognized for decades as an active nature destination, invited attendees to explore its landscapes and biodiversity, characterized by their authenticity.

The first stop was at Finca Las Orillas , a sanctuary where visitors could reconnect with themselves thanks to the harmony and serenity offered by this place surrounded by the mountains of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. A special energy permeates the space, making it easy to consider it a magical place.

Another point of interest that allows for direct contact with the rural environment of Gran Canaria is La Jaira de Ana . It's a farm school committed to environmental sustainability, where visitors learned firsthand about the workings of a traditional Canarian farm. The visit included a tour of the farm and participation in a traditional cheese-making workshop, a unique way to experience the flavors of Gran Canaria.

The day concluded at Bodega Los Berrazales, located within the Finca La Laja estate in the Agaete Valley. This family-run estate blends nature and tradition. Attendees toured its small coffee plantation and vineyards, learned about the cultivation process of Agaete's renowned coffee, and sampled the local product.

After a day of authentic experiences in contact with the island's natural environment, the guests leave with a clear understanding of what Gran Canaria offers as an active nature destination. They will soon share this concept with their readers, bringing them closer to the essence of the island.
