The southern region of Gran Canaria is strengthening its appeal to major international brands in the textile sector with the opening of a new store in one of the island's most iconic tourist destinations . The German group CBR Service GmbH , owner of leading European brands such as Street One , Cecil , and the men's line Street One Men , has expanded its presence in the archipelago with the official opening of a store in Playa de Mogán , reinforcing the commitment of local investors to diversify the retail offerings in the south of the island.

The implementation of this commercial project has been jointly driven by the local partner Simmis , led by Rajesh and his management team, with the technical and operational support of the CBR Fashion Group teams . The opening of this retail space on the Mogán coast is part of the German company's international expansion strategy, which is being developed through its distribution network encompassing thousands of points of sale across various European countries. Rafa Frau , the Country Manager for the brands in the region , highlighted the coordinated effort of all the operators involved in successfully opening this new retail space.

Founded in Germany in the 1980s and currently backed by international investment funds linked to global financial structures, CBR has established itself over the past few decades as a key player in the fast fashion and multi-channel textile distribution industry. With brands specializing in the women's segment such as Street One —established in 1983—and Cecil —founded in 1989—in addition to more recent lines like Street One Men and Street One Studio, the group manages a logistics and commercial model that supplies thousands of multi-brand stores and its own boutiques throughout Europe.

The arrival of this new retail concept in Playa de Mogán adds value to the economic fabric of southern Gran Canaria, providing the retail sector with a modern and attractive range of textiles for both local residents and the constant flow of international visitors that characterizes the tourist area. The combination of the German group's operational experience and the drive of local entrepreneurs confirms the southern region's ability to attract investment in high-quality retail, boosting economic activity and generating new job opportunities in the coastal municipality.
