The National Police have concluded Operation Hardy after several months of investigation, surveillance, and monitoring. Officers seized cocaine, hashish, over €28.000 in cash, a firearm, ammunition, and two vehicles.
The National Police have arrested five people suspected of drug trafficking and money laundering as part of Operation Hardy , carried out in the municipality of Ingenio , Gran Canaria . The operation was conducted by agents from the Narcotics Unit of the Telde Local Police Station.
Months of surveillance and monitoring
The investigation lasted several months and yielded evidence of the suspects' alleged involvement in drug trafficking. During this period, officers conducted numerous surveillance operations on the targets of the operation, advancing their inquiries.
As a result of the investigation, the National Police carried out several searches in which they seized 107 grams of cocaine prepared for distribution and sale , 50 grams of hashish , and €28.305 in cash . Officers also confiscated two precision scales, two passenger vehicles, and various materials used for the production, storage, and packaging of narcotics.
A revolver and ammunition were among the items seized.
During the operation, investigators also located a revolver and five unfired cartridges, which were seized along with the rest of the items related to the investigation.
After the police investigation was completed, the five detainees were placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
