This Friday, January 14, the inauguration of two sub-inspectors of the Mogán Local Police, José Luis Segura Díaz and Marco Antonio Domínguez García, took place. The event, chaired by the mayor of Mogán, Onalia Bueno, was held in the Session Hall of the Town Hall with the presence of the first deputy mayor and councilor for Citizen Security, Mencey Navarro, and the head of the Local Police of the municipality, Jorge Alemán.

The first deputy mayor explained that to access the two vacant sub-inspector positions, both agents have participated in the merit-based competition procedure that was published a few weeks ago at City Hall. “On behalf of the Corporation, I congratulate the two new sub-inspectors, who are colleagues with extensive professional experience and academic training that in one way or another accredits better service provision,” he said.
For his part, the head of the Local Police, Jorge Alemán, has reported that with these appointments and those of five officers that are planned imminently, “the different basic and executive scales in which the provision of officials is processed are complemented.” of these middle-level and first-line managers.”
Navarro has also expressed himself in that sense. “Next week, if no problem arises, five police officers will take office as officers.
