Content creators and specialized European media visited Gran Canaria to learn about one of its most outstanding nautical events and discover the island's ocean-related offerings.

From August 27th to 29th, the Pasito Blanco Marina hosted the sixth edition of the Gran Canaria International Deep-Sea Fishing Open . To mark the event, Gran Canaria Blue , an association dedicated to promoting the island as a leading destination for water sports and activities, organized two promotional events with international guests.

The participants accompanied the teams throughout the competition and promoted the event through their social media networks and other media outlets. They also took advantage of their stay to explore other experiences related to the sea and active tourism in Gran Canaria.

Among the guests were German content creator Babs Kijewski, specializing in fishing, along with Geoffrai Joel Juillar, photographer, videographer and owner of the French online fishing magazine 1max2peche.

However, the aim of his trip was not only to cover the competition but also to showcase Gran Canaria as a fishing tourism destination and a popular family holiday spot.

Babs' experience also included activities outside the marine environment. Thanks to the rental service of Banana Bike Canarias , a partner of Gran Canaria Tri, Bike & Run , she was able to explore the island on an electric bike.

After several days discovering Gran Canaria from the sea and from land, the participants shared their experiences on social networks and different specialized media, contributing to showcasing internationally the variety of proposals linked to the ocean and active tourism that the island offers.
