King Felipe VI received the members of the Board of Directors and Management Committee of Sacyr at the Zarzuela Palace, an institutional meeting commemorating the fortieth anniversary of the Spanish construction and concession company listed on the Ibex 35. Among the senior officials in attendance was Susana del Castillo Bello, a board member of the entity and director of Venture Capital and Alternative Investments at Casticapital, who is part of the core governance of the global infrastructure group representing its venture capital management company.

The corporate delegation was headed by Sacyr's Chairman, Manuel Manrique, and CEO, Pedro Sigüenza. After the traditional official family photograph, the King held an audience in the Audience Hall, where the Chairman of the group stood to His Majesty's right, delivered a commemorative speech, and presented the institutional volume published for the fortieth anniversary. Following this, a round of discussions took place with board members and executives regarding the company's international expansion, the development of sustainable infrastructure, and the technological challenges in the area of global concessions.

Sacyr consolidates its strategic positioning after operating in more than fifteen countries across four continents, structuring its business model around three major operating divisions. The conglomerate's main driver is the Concessions division, focused on developing large-scale transportation and healthcare infrastructure projects under public-private partnership models. This area is complemented by the Engineering and Infrastructure segment, responsible for both civil works related to its own concessions and external contracting, and the Water division, which boasts over three decades of experience specializing in desalination and integrated water cycle management.

Susana del Castillo's participation in this high-level institutional gathering underscores the significant role of professionals specializing in international financial management and venture capital within the governance of major listed Spanish corporations. A law graduate with a specialization in International Business Management from the University of London (Royal Holloway) and a master's degree holder from IE Business School, Del Castillo brings her experience in investment committees and corporate governance to one of the largest multinational infrastructure companies in the Spanish market.
