The officers seized various tools that could be used to break into homes, as well as an alarm sensor with a camera and a set of keys.
National Police officers have arrested three men in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with force inside a home.
The events took place in the early hours of September 22, after the agents were commissioned by the CIMACC 091 Room after receiving an alert from an alarm receiving center that communicated the intrusion and the presence of two people inside the property.
Upon arrival, the officers found that the main doors of the house remained closed and showed no apparent signs of forced entry.
The police set up a perimeter to secure possible exit routes and checked the building's perimeter.
After entering the premises, they heard a noise coming from the rear area, near a ravine, and later located two men hidden and crouching on the roof of an adjacent house.
The officers proceeded to arrest them and carry out a superficial security search, locating a screwdriver hidden among the belongings of one of them.
Officers from the Prevention and Reaction Unit (UPR) were dispatched to the scene and, after securing the first two detainees, proceeded to carry out an inspection of the area, managing to locate a third man hidden in the rear area of the building.
The individual stated that he could not move after jumping in his escape from a height of about 9 meters from the patio to an area that was difficult to access, resulting in injury to one of his legs.
The fire department had to intervene to rescue the third suspect due to the terrain, and later, after being treated by the medical services, he was taken to the hospital.
During the inspection of the property, the agents found that several camera systems had been broken and that the garage was completely ransacked.
During the operation, several tools that could be used to commit robberies were seized, including a crowbar, wrenches, a parrot beak wrench and screwdrivers, as well as gloves and clothing.
The officers also located a backpack that appeared to have been thrown into the ravine area during the escape. Inside, among other items, they found an alarm sensor with a camera and a set of car keys.
