The Parque del Sur, in Maspalomas, will host a fair on October 24th and 25th with a wide program of activities
Local businesses in San Bartolomé de Tirajana will have a new showcase this October to promote their products and connect with the community. The San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, through its Department of Commerce and in collaboration with the Canary Islands Government's Ministry of Economy, Industry, Commerce, and Self-Employment, is organizing the first "Más Comercio de SBT" (More Commerce of SBT) Fair, which will take place on October 24th and 25th in Parque del Sur, Maspalomas.
The initiative was created with the aim of promoting and revitalizing the commercial fabric of the municipality, highlighting the activity of the establishments and companies that carry out their economic activity in San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
The mayor of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Marco Aurelio Pérez, highlights the importance of launching initiatives of this nature as support for the municipality's commercial sector.
“This fair represents a commitment to our local businesses and to those who work in our town every day. We want it to be an opportunity to promote our establishments and generate new economic synergies, but also a meeting point for the community, where cultural activities, leisure, and family enjoyment can all take place,” says Marco Aurelio Pérez.
For two days, Parque del Sur will host an event that goes beyond a simple trade show. The fair will feature a wide range of activities aimed at diverse audiences, including workshops, children's activities, musical performances, a food area, and a fashion show, among other offerings.
In this way, the First SBT More Commerce Fair aims to become a meeting point around local commerce, offering participating establishments an opportunity to showcase their products and services and, at the same time, generating a complementary program that encourages citizen participation.
Registration period now open
Araceli Armas, Councillor for Commerce, is calling on businesses with economic activity in the municipality to participate in this first edition of the fair.
“We encourage you to be present at this fair, as you are the ones who give it meaning. We have a diverse and competitive commercial sector, which is our greatest asset, and this is an opportunity to showcase and celebrate it.”
Interested companies and establishments should consult the participation rules, available at www.maspalomas.com , and submit the corresponding application through the Registry of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana Town Hall, addressed to the Department of Commerce.
The deadline for submitting applications is October 7th.
