H10 Hotels completed a three-year investment cycle this October for the comprehensive renovation of the H10 Playa Meloneras hotel complex, located in southern Gran Canaria. The company informed Maspalomas24H that it has integrated the property into its five-star holiday brand, H10 Horizons Collection, the premium brand launched in January 2025 to redefine the high-end segment in the archipelago and position the Gran Canaria resort as a benchmark for top-tier accommodation on the island's coast.

The architectural and design intervention encompassed all 373 rooms and suites of the complex, in addition to a complete renovation of the common areas and reception. The hotel's common spaces now feature an open, airy, and versatile layout, highlighting a completely redesigned lobby that incorporates priority service areas and personalized welcome touches for guests arriving at the hotel in the Meloneras tourist enclave.

The resort's 373 rooms feature an Atlantic-inspired aesthetic and are equipped with advanced technology, including Smart TVs with Chromecast connectivity, complimentary coffee machines, minibars, and sustainable toiletries from Rituals. This high standard is complemented by enhanced, personalized services such as poolside concierge assistance and special touches designed to maximize the guest experience during their vacation.

To meet the demands of travelers who prioritize privacy and exclusive services, the resort has enhanced its Privilege concept. This operational approach offers superior rooms and restricted access areas within the resort's perimeter, including a heated pool with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Privilege Lounge, designed as a private relaxation area with continuous beverage service, snacks, international newspapers, and reserved workspaces.

The hotel's culinary offerings are undergoing a profound transformation with the opening of two new specialty restaurants. These include the Italian restaurant Il Trastevere, equipped with a handcrafted pizza oven, and the Japanese fine dining establishment Sakura, which features show-cooking stations with teppanyaki grills. These additions complement the complete renovation of the Tamadaba buffet restaurant and the continued offering of established themed restaurants under the Gaudí and Naturalia & La Brasserie brands.

The wellness and health program is centered around the Despacio Spa Centre, a wellness center featuring a dynamic pool, hydromassage beds, a contrast shower circuit, a jacuzzi, a sauna, and a Turkish bath. The space is further enhanced by treatment rooms dedicated to personalized aesthetic and body treatments, relaxation areas, and a gym equipped with state-of-the-art fitness equipment.

In the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) sector, the hotel offers three multipurpose rooms equipped with advanced audiovisual technology to host corporate meetings. The completion of this investment project reinforces the hotel chain's strategic commitment to quality tourism in southern Gran Canaria, raising the competitive standards of the island's accommodation sector in response to demand from higher-spending European markets.
