The installation project of 4.000 m2 of photovoltaic canopy panels for the generation and self-consumption of electrical energy is completed.
The Aqualand Maspalomas water park, located in the south of Gran Canaria, has completed the installation of photovoltaic canopies in its parking lot, in order to generate its own clean energy, thus taking a step forward on the path of sustainable development and care enviroment.
The facility occupies a space of 5.700 square meters, of which 4.000 square meters are occupied by solar panels, in which 228 parking spaces have been delimited by photovoltaic canopies that will produce 605,20 kWdc, becoming one of the largest photovoltaic parks. of this type in national territory, and will prevent the emission of more than 234 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
