PP-AV will present allegations to the approved budget of San Bartolomé de Tirajana

The state of the beaches and promenades is terrible.

The state of the beaches and promenades is terrible.

Elena Alamo Vega, spokesperson for the PP-AV, wants to denounce the lack of involvement and commitment of the municipal government with the maintenance of the tourist area in general and especially its beaches and promenades.

“PSOE, NC, C'S in San Bartolomé de Tirajana do not see it as a priority to act in the tourist area, they do not contemplate it in their plan and much less in their budget. They are not at all clear about what is the economic engine of the island and the municipality,” stated the spokesperson.

Tourists who walk and try to enjoy the beaches from Meloneras, Maspalomas, Faro and the surroundings of CC Oasis find themselves on a true journey of wear and tear, neglect and municipal inaction.

There are garden areas in poor condition, unrepaired curbs and walls, signs and information panels that are obsolete and worn out, beach furniture and footbaths destroyed, causing accidents to them.

Night lighting almost non-existent and with destruction, in short a true nonsense that offers a desolate image of our destination.

From PP-AV we are going to present an allegation to the budget demanding that they dedicate a greater investment to what feeds us, which is our tourist area, said spokesperson Elena Álamo Vega.

PP-AV assures that this government is being disastrous and harmful to the municipality because it does not solve anything. The neighbors wonder what they do every day because they are also users of these walking and beach areas and they see the municipality deteriorating in leaps and bounds and crumbling as if it were a sand castle.

“We demand once again that they get to work, they cannot continue sinking our tourist area.”
