Thanks to the financing of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and the City Council of Santa Lucía de Tirajana, the Museum of La Fortaleza launches a set of activities under the name 'Sabores de Tirajana'. This is the programming of a series of events in which, through the use of the senses, we seek to promote the history of Tirajana and the products of the land.
From the open-air terrace of the Museum and with the Caldera de Tirajana and La Fortaleza as a backdrop, a series of tastings and tastings of kilometer zero products will be held. The producers themselves will be in charge of telling their experience and presenting their products to the participants. Cheese, wine, honey or craft beer will be some of the protagonists of these days in which it is intended to stimulate all the senses.
Each call that is proposed includes a thematic guided tour of the Museum. In this way, every month new experiences will be created in which you can take a trip through time from the most remote past to the present. This program is complemented by the traditional activity of the Museum, which permanently offers guided tours of the archaeological site of La Fortaleza led by an archaeologist, evening evenings led by a specialist and even offers the possibility of becoming an archaeologist for a day in his Archaeotheque.
'Sabores de Tirajana' will premiere this April, but will continue throughout 2022. Some of the proposals are:

Tasting of craft beers. Saturday July 9
Wine tasting. Saturday August 6 (sunset)
Honey tasting. Saturday September 10
