All sports facilities in the municipality will have a semi-automatic defibrillator unit, a vital relevant element when addressing emergency situations.
A total of 37 devices will be installed in different municipal offices and public buildings.
These days, the City Council of San Bartolomé de Tirajana has begun the work of installing 37 units of semi-automatic defibrillators in different public offices and buildings. The equipment has been acquired through the Commonwealth of Medianías and has had an investment of €59.068,28. These supports become a vital relevant element when addressing emergency situations in establishments, headquarters and public gathering centers.
On the other hand, the workers of the different municipal departments have received a certified course on Basic Life Support and Automatic Defibrillation (AED), which has been taught by the Spanish Society of Intensive, Critical Medicine and Coronary Units (SEMICYUC), within the National Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Plan, whose validity will last 2 years. To date, a total of 76 workers have been trained and the last training will be held on April 29, with the participation of about 48 people.

Sports facilities: Juan Grande football field, Vicente del Bosque Sports City, Aldea Blanca Municipal Swimming Pool, San Fernando Municipal Swimming Pool, San Fernando Municipal Pavilion, Maspalomas Stadium, Maspalomas Sports City, El Tablero Pavilion, El Tablero Municipal Swimming Pool, Eleuterio Valerón Football Field.
Educational centers: Juan Grande Public School, Pancho Guerra Public School, Aldea Blanca Public School, Támara Secondary School, Agüañac Secondary School, Amurga Secondary School, Faro Secondary School.
Cultural centers: Juan Grande House of Culture, Castillo del Romeral House of Culture, San Fernando House of Culture, San Fernando School of Music, El Tablero House of Culture, El Tablero Training School, El Pajar House of Culture and Tunte House of Culture.
Social Services: Socio-Cultural Center for the Elderly, Social Work Unit of El Tablero, Social Work Unit of El Pajar, El Salobre Occupational Workshop and San Fernando Day Center.
Parks and Gardens: Toni Gallardo Park.
In addition, they will be present at Vías y Obras, the Tourism Office of Annex II, the Maspalomas Local Police Station, the Municipal Offices of CC Yumbo and San Fernando, the Town Halls of Tunte and the Maspalomas Fire Station.
