The 2022 Spring Festival organized by the Santa Lucía de Tirajana City Council will fill the Open Commercial Zone of Avenida de Canarias with flowers, parades, concerts and storytelling on April 29 and 30. The festival will have more than 20 exhibitor stands and multiple free activities during the two days of its celebration. A concert by the group Los 600 will close the fair on Saturday night.
The Department of Public Services of the Santa Lucía de Tirajana City Council organizes this event that will open with a floral exhibition on Avenida de Canarias de Vecindario. In addition to the 20 flower sales stands, there will be exhibitions of the work with flowers and gardening carried out by municipal Public Services workers.
The mayor of Santa Lucía de Tirajana, Francisco García, presented the Spring Fair this Wednesday, accompanied by the Councilor for Public Services, Marcos Rufo and the first deputy mayor, Santiago Rodríguez. The first mayor announced that "in addition to the positions of flower producers and sellers, workers from the municipal Public Services area will show the tasks they perform in our parks and gardens." Francisco García added that "this festival will not only be positive for the flower sector, but also for all local commerce and the restoration of the Commercial Zone."
The Councilor for Public Services, Marcos Rufo, stated that “the main objective of the Spring Fair is to publicize and promote companies that produce and market flowers, plants and garden care products.” Rufo thanked “the Public Services colleagues for the work they do and their participation in this Spring Festival that is celebrated for the first time in our municipality.” The first deputy mayor, Santiago Rodríguez congratulated “our colleague Marcos Rufo and all the Public Services staff, because they make this festival possible.” Rodríguez added that "it is a good idea to promote an activity that will please our citizens who have already shown their interest in nature and plants with experiences such as urban gardens or the activities that are being done with older people in this sense."
Exhibitions and concerts
On Friday the 29th at 18:19.30 p.m. there will be the Young Talents Canarios concert. At half past six in the afternoon there will be a parade, the first day will end at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. with the Revival Gospel Mlou concert.
On Saturday the reopening of the stalls will be animated at 11.30 in the morning with a Zumba exhibition. At 12 there will be story telling. In the afternoon a parade is scheduled at 6. Half an hour later there will be the performance of the Zenday Quartet. At 7.30 there will be the concert by the Chelys Odalys Choir. The Primavera Festival will have a musical closing performance by Los 600.
