The San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, through its Department of Culture and Historical Heritage, has organized a trip to La Palma from July 15th to 17th. The trip will include visits to the island's most emblematic sites, the volcanic landscape, and a view of the recent eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano. The councilor of the area, Elena Espino, has highlighted that this new edition of the Maspalomas Summer University comes with surprises. “It will be a fresh edition, with dynamic courses and workshops for all audiences and, as it could not be otherwise, the trip to La Palma could not be missed before the historic event of the Cumbre Vieja volcano. This trip will be an enriching experience.”
This activity is part of the program of the XXX edition of the Maspalomas Summer University, which will be held from July 1 to 29, and which this year commemorates the 30th anniversary with new courses, workshops and cultural and musical activities for children. and adult.
The trip to La Palma, organized for a group of 55 people, has a special price for residents of the Canary Islands of 250 euros (per person, in a single room), 260 euros (per person, in a single room with sea views), 205 euros (per person, in a double room) and 215 (per person, in a double room with sea views). Other prices based on a double room are: for residents under 12 years of age (185 euros), discount for Large Families (195 euros) and for people not residing in the Canary Islands (335 euros).
The price of the trip includes the round trip plane flight, transfers from the airport to the hotel and vice versa, half-board accommodation at the H10 Taburiente Hotel (4 stars), bus excursions and travel insurance.
The group will leave by plane, from the Gran Canaria airport to La Palma, on Friday, July 15, on a direct flight from the Binter company, departing at 10:00 a.m., and the return from La Palma will be on Sunday, July 17, at 20:00 p.m., on a direct flight to Gran Canaria.
