Within the program of events for the 2022 Santa Águeda festivities, the first post-COVID-19 pilgrimage in Gran Canaria was held. Dressed in typical Canarian clothing, the pilgrimage started from the Pajar crossing to the neighborhood square. Folk groups and parties, arriving from different parts of the island, sang and danced, with approximately a thousand people participating.
