The sun and some breeze accompanied those who approached the pedestrian area of Avenida de Canarias this afternoon during the inauguration of the 2022 Spring Festival, organized by the Santa Lucía de Tirajana City Council. From the Plaza de San Rafael to the Era las Plantas park area, you can visit the flower stalls, garden products, and some sculptures made with grass by municipal workers are the protagonists of the stalls placed in the Open Commercial Zone . During the afternoon of this Friday and all day Saturday there will be musical performances, parades and storytelling to encourage those who come to this festival that is celebrated for the first time in the southeast of Gran Canaria.
In addition to different types of flowers and plants, the municipal Public Services staff has made different grass sculptures that are displayed throughout the entire pedestrian area. The Department of Public Services of the Santa Lucía de Tirajana City Council organizes this event. It will close this Saturday at 20.30:600 p.m. with a concert by Los XNUMX.
The mayor of Santa Lucía de Tirajana, Francisco García, inaugurated the Spring Festival. The first councilor was accompanied by the councilor for Public Services, Marcos Rufo, the first deputy mayor, Santiago Rodríguez, the councilor for Street Cleaning, José Moreno and the councilor for Urban Discipline, Minerva Pérez. This Friday at six in the afternoon there will be the Jóvenes Talentos Canarios concert. At half past six there will be a parade and 19.30:11.30 p.m. with the Revival Gospel Mlou concert. On Saturday the reopening of the stalls will be animated at 12 in the morning with a Zumba exhibition. At 6 there will be story telling. In the afternoon a parade is scheduled at 19.30.
