For her part, Isa Duque, who is accompanied by Cristina Chinchilla, responsible for the technical and audiovisual part of the project, explains that “one of the current problems is that juvenophobia, technophobia and neophobia come together, negative beliefs associated with youth, technology and novelty, respectively, and most of the news that is given about adolescents is done in a negative way, criminalizing this Generation Z and their entire world; their way of communicating, relating and living.
Duque, who also declares himself a cyberactivist for his defense of the use of information and communication technologies to participate in movements, especially of a political or social nature, affirms that “having been born with an 'extension' of the body in telephone format "Intelligent means that, along with other aspects, it is sometimes difficult for us to know how to accompany today's youth, Generation Z, people born between 1994-2010, posing a great challenge for many people to understand their universe and their ways of relating."
Isa Duque is also the author of the book 'Getting closer to generation Z. A practical guide to understanding today's youth without prejudice'.
