PRP treatment in osteomyoarticular pathologies: Treatment with platelet-rich plasma is one of the techniques included in regenerative medicine. It is a concentrate of platelets in a set volume of plasma, which is obtained by centrifugation of the blood.

 

In regenerative biology, the idea is that inflammation is important in the repair process and that cutting off the inflammatory process negatively interferes with tissue healing.
