Within the day, the activity “Between wines and tapas” will be held, with the aim of boosting commerce in the area and our gastronomy.

This Saturday, the Plaza de El Tablero hosts the celebration of its traditional La Zafra festival, which this year also includes the activity “Between wines and tapas”, framed within the nearest Commerce Project. The objective of this event, subsidized by the Department of Industry, Commerce and Crafts of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, is to boost commerce in the area, with the presence of local restaurant stands to promote our gastronomy with a night of wines and tapas .
This activity was born in response to the objectives set by the Culture Department of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, which aims, on the one hand, to recover and transmit our traditions; and, on the other hand, encourage the participation of the residents of El Tablero, for which different neighborhood groups and individuals from the town have been involved, through what was once the largest activity in the area, “La Aparcería” .
The day, which will begin at 17.30:XNUMX p.m. with the Children's Folklore Exhibition of the Municipal Music School, will also feature a craft exhibition by the FEDAC, children's craft workshops, a traditional sports exhibition, an exhibition of chácaras and drums, exhibition of photographs of weddings from yesteryear, among other activities. In addition, there will be Taifa Dance with performances by La Cucaña, La Aulaga and the final touch will be provided by AF Bejeque to continue the evening with a night of tapas and wine.
