At around 16:15 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert reporting that a car-scooter collision had occurred on Idafe Street, municipality of Santa Lucía, the driver of the latter being injured.
An 18-year-old male who, at the initial time of care, presented with moderate multiple contusions, was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
Services activated by CECOES 1-1-2:
Canary Emergency Service (SUC): medicalized ambulance, one sanitized and another basic life support.
Local police.
Remarks:
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
The SUC personnel provided medical care to the injured person and transferred him to the aforementioned hospital center.
The Local Police instructed the corresponding procedures.
