Renewal, youth and experience, keys in the composition of the new local executive of Nueva Canarias in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

The local Assembly of Nueva Canarias in San Bartolomé de Tirajana has completed its internal electoral process tonight, through which the party organs in the municipality have been renewed. Thus, Samuel Henríquez Quintana has been elected as president of the party at the local level and is followed by an executive made up of “young, prepared and experienced people, eager to change things and lead the future of our organization.”

Militants and sympathizers packed the main hall of the El Tablero House of Culture, more than the 160 members that the organization currently has, after two years in which it has not been possible to share in person, demonstrating that the project of Nueva Canarias is more alive than ever and that “we continue working to defend the public and the general interest.”

The event was attended by the President of Nueva Canarias in the Canary Islands, Román Rodríguez, the Secretary of Organization, Carmelo Ramírez Sánchez, and the spokesperson for Nueva Canarias in the Parliament of the Canary Islands, Luis Campos. They agreed in their speech on the “importance of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana assembly as a fundamental pillar of the organization.”

The new president showed his “gratitude and support for the candidacy, and requested the commitment of all members so that Nueva Canarias is the first political force in San Bartolomé de Tirajana in the next municipal elections.”
