More than 40 people participate in the Workshop course 'How to achieve an unbeatable personality to speak in public with performing pleasure', one of the most popular in the programming of the XXX Summer University of Maspalomas, which is held in the morning and Afternoon.
The public speaking expert Ángel Lafuente, who has been participating in the summer university for 28 years, will teach students the keys to mastering the spoken word, both in the private and public spheres, on radio and television, and to master dialogue in the Work meetings.
Lafuente is president of the Institute of Verbal Techniques and a public speaking trainer at universities, business schools, public administrations, companies, and associations. For 35 years he was a radio and television announcer and presenter for TVE (Spanish National Television ), and his second surname links him to the Romantic poet José Zorrilla.
The XXX edition of the Maspalomas Summer University is organized by the City Council of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) and the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Rights, Equality, Diversity and Youth of the Government of the Canary Islands, Casa África and the Social Council of the ULPGC.
