Residents of Agüimes who must pay a bill, fee or municipal tax can carry out the procedure, from now on, in a more comfortable and simple way: using the Bizum platform as a means of payment. The City Council has enabled this new option in its electronic headquarters, with the aim of making it easier for citizens to carry out administrative procedures that involve payment.
Thus, once the details of the document to be paid (reference, identification and amount) have been entered, payment can be made online through two options. By card, providing the taxpayer's bank card details, or through Bizum, entering the taxpayer's mobile phone number and Bizum password. In this case, the person will then receive an SMS message on their mobile phone entered with a unique password, valid exclusively for the payment they are making. With this key you can confirm the payment and receive confirmation immediately.
The incorporation of Bizum as a means of payment adds to the measures that the Agüimes City Council has been implementing for years to facilitate this type of procedures for citizens. Among them, the Special Tax Plan stands out, a service that allows you to distribute, during the 12 months of the year, the payment of periodically collected fees and taxes, in a comfortable way, without surcharges or interest and with the additional benefit of 5% discount on the Real Estate Tax (IBI).
The service not only allows you to deal with receipts comfortably, without unexpected scares, but also frees the taxpayer from the obligation to pay attention to the payment periods established in the calendar of municipal rates and taxes. Among the taxes that may be included in the Plan, in addition to the IBI, are the Mechanical Traction Vehicle Tax (IVTM), the Economic Activities Tax (IAE) and the Ford, Water, Garbage and Sewer rates.
