The Neighborhood Health Center is the first fixed blood donation point outside the capital of Gran Canaria

 

 

Since this Tuesday, the Neighborhood Health Center has a fixed point for blood donation. This is the first fixed point to donate blood in Gran Canaria that the Canarian Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy opens outside the capital. The point is located in the building attached to the health center on Guatiza Street in Vecindario.  

 

At the opening ceremony were the president of the ICHH, María Teresa Gutiérrez Izquierdo, the director of Nursing of the Primary Care Management of the Health Area of ​​Gran Canaria, Juan José Suárez Sánchez and the councilors of Santa Lucía de Tirajana Ana María Gopar, Sergio Vega, Ana Mayor and José Moreno.

 

 

 

 

 

Until the month of September, with summer hours, the point will be open from Monday to Wednesday from 17:15 p.m. to 20:30 p.m. and Thursday and Friday from 10:15 a.m. to 13:30 p.m.; and starting October 1 with winter hours, Monday to Wednesday from 16:15 p.m. to 20:30 p.m. and Thursday and Friday from 9:15 a.m. to 13:30 p.m.
