The current context and the crisis derived from Covid19 has shown the need to collaborate and seek in cooperation and the exchange of knowledge an important and inspiring tool for growth and generation of synergies. Joining together to launch projects that advocate for a friendlier and more respectful industry, and that help raise consumer awareness about the need to commit to business models committed to this, has become essential in the current situation.

The demand to find innovative solutions to stimulate the reuse, repair, reconditioning and recycling of existing materials and products has become a vital issue. A purpose that has been set by the EU, which establishes a very specific and ambitious program of actions, with measures that cover the entire life cycle of a fashion piece: from production and consumption, to waste management.

Sustainability and circularity thus become an essential concept within any strategic plan of a fashion company, but this strategy must not only contemplate respect for the environment. Responsible consumption, local production, creativity, innovation and preservation of crafts are other concepts to take into account when undertaking sustainable and circular fashion projects.
