Video: Agadir already has a cable car, Tunte does not

It was 2010 when a group of promoters from Las Palmas asked to have a cable car that would boost commerce at the top of the island. The same gentlemen from Las Palmas were the ones who prevented the south of the island from having a tourist attraction. Agadir, a destination that Canarians have always looked down on and which already has more five-star hotels than the south of Gran Canaria, now has a cable car. In 2012, only the Federation of Leisure and Service of the Canary Islands (Fecao) showed its support for installing a cable car at the summit "to prevent the exodus of neighbors from continuing." San Bartolomé de Tirajana never supported the idea, which did have the support of the Gran Canaria Tourist Board.
