The History graduate, Carolina González Francés, has made a bibliographical selection of the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana for the Cupacan exhibition in San Fernando de Maspalomas. In just 4 minutes González Francés takes a tour of the history of the municipality: from the Conquest to the present. The exhibition is composed of three parts. The bibliographic-documentary Zone, in which the participating southern municipalities present between 16 and 20 publications of their landscapes, with cultural and natural content, including literature and ethnography. It is divided into nine bibliographic and documentary exhibitors, of which six correspond to the southern municipalities. The space is presided over by a map, like a diagram, where the evolution in number of inhabitants and homes is reflected. The years that will be used as reference are 1842, 1900, 1950, 1970, 2000 and 2020. The selection of the content is carried out by expert librarians in the bibliographic part, as well as archivists dedicated to the treatment of documents that, as historical milestones , represent each municipality.
