Water and Sugar Museum Project - expansion and conditioning

 

Within the framework of the Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development Strategy of Villa de Ingenio, EDUSI INGENOVO, 85% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the framework of the Pluriregional Operational Program of Spain 2014-2020” , the City Council of Ingenio has put out to tender the works contract for the execution of the project "Museum of Water and Sugar - expansion and conditioning" within OT6.3.4 of the EDUSI

 

     The object of the contract consists of the creation and revitalization of the urban environment of the historic center, through the implementation of the Water and Sugar Museum and the Los Molinos Route. It is an urban museum project based on the rehabilitation, restoration and conservation of the historical, cultural, architectural, ethnographic and artistic heritage of the municipality, having among its main objectives the cultural promotion and the potentialization of tourism. The purpose of the action is the birth of the germ that stimulates public-private synergy, an essential basis to undertake the social and business revitalization necessary for the recovery of the historic center and its cultural and architectural heritage in both areas. The present intervention will aim to correct, recover and condition these spaces within the margins allowed by those previously carried out, based on the need to conserve, preserve and respect the buildings and their construction characteristics formally and architecturally. 

 

    The estimated value of the contract is €101.696,42 and companies interested in submitting their offers have until 14.00:08 p.m. (Canary Islands time) on August 2022, XNUMX, and can find the necessary information on the Contracting Platform of the State. The execution period is eight months.
