More than 30 young people have registered for The Campus that takes place for three days in The Nature Classroom 'Lomo Jurgón'
Yesterday, the TransFórmate San Bartolomé de Tirajana 2022 Campus started, a Transforming Experience included in the 'TransFórmate' project in the municipality, where more than thirty young people from San Bartolomé de Tirajana will live together for three days with other registered people.
Participants learn to “connect with nature, adopt supportive behaviors and attitudes, learn about the volunteering options that youth have and, most importantly: Enjoy 3 magnificent days in a natural environment and area,” highlighted the councilor who promoted this initiative, Irasema Hernández.
Without a doubt, a different way to start the summer, full of so-called alternative leisure offers, where they start new friendships between learning and fun. These are some of the suggestive proposals offered by the Department of Youth and Equality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana for this summer.
Hernández described, during the opening ceremony, the benefits that this recreational-educational action provides, "since it stimulates them to strengthen cooperation, values and a sense of solidarity, thus contributing to creating people who are more personally, socially and environmentally committed." ”.
The TransFórmate Campus takes place in The Nature Classroom 'Lomo Jurgón', between July 19 and 21, and is aimed at young people (16-30 years old), residents of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana municipality (Gran Canaria)
