The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Crafts of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, Minerva Alonso, visited the exhibition area of Gran Canaria products in the El Corte Inglés supermarket. A visit that she made together with Juan Manuel Gabella, insular director of Industry and Commerce; Ramón Redondo, director of Domestic Trade and Employment of the Gran Canaria Chamber of Commerce; Francisco Nicolás Acosta, director of El Corte Inglés de Mesa y López; and Alfredo Medina Moreno, director of Communication, Institutions and Sustainability of El Corte Inglés in the Canary Islands.
This action is framed in the collaboration agreement with the Chamber of Commerce of Gran Canaria and under the Gran Canaria Me Gusta program, financed by the Department of Industry, Commerce and Crafts of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria. The objective is to provide support to large commercial distribution companies to support the marketing of products from Gran Canaria.

Canaria Me Gusta along with the slogans “Choose Gran Canaria” and “buy local, buy here” with the aim of encouraging customers to purchase local products from the island, raising awareness about the importance, especially at this time, of consuming local products. the earth for the benefits they bring to our economy and society.
