Around 10:19 a.m. yesterday, an alert was received at the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands requesting health assistance for a man who had suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest on the Paseo Maritimo de Playa of English, 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
Upon arriving at the scene, the SUC personnel confirmed that the affected person, a 62-year-old man, was in cardiorespiratory arrest, so they began basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, managing to reverse the arrest.
Once stabilized and recovered from cardiorespiratory arrest, the patient was transferred in the medical ambulance to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria where he was admitted in moderate condition. The Local Police collaborated with the emergency services.
