The Veneguera neighborhood is preparing to celebrate the Festivities in honor of the Virgin of Fátima, which begin this Saturday, August 6, with the Taifa Dance and will culminate on Monday, the 15th of the same month with the traditional mass and procession and the performance of Kike Perez. The Veneguera Festival Commission (COFIVE) organizes the program of events with the collaboration of the Mogán City Council.
A fireworks will mark the beginning of the celebrations at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday the 6th. Activities include the Taifa Dance with the Veneguera, El Cura, Pajullo and Mejunje parties on Saturday at 21:00 p.m., the popular Fiesta of the Sombrero on Sunday the 7th and the celebration of the Day of the Virgin of Fátima on Monday, August 15. This day will start at 6:00 a.m. with the Floreada Diana with the Agaete Band and will continue at 11:30 a.m. with the solemn Eucharist and the procession of the image of the virgin through the streets of the neighborhood, accompanied by the neighbors and neighbors with the Banda Pasión La Aldea.
This 2022, in which the celebrations return in their entirety as before the pandemic, the program includes various recreational activities such as zanga competitions and lottery games, movie nights, gymkhanas, aquatic inflatables, a circus show, a children's gala and verbenas.
