AV-SLT has filed a special appeal against the service contract for the management of municipal parks and gardens for an estimated value of €7.081.256,57.
AV-SLT denounces that this agreement does nothing but hide the privatization of public services by the government group, and they also do it to hide their absolute inability to manage this service by hiring personnel through employment exchanges.
With this contract, it is not only intended that two types of workers coexist to serve the same park, but also that by performing the same work, some will earn more than the others.
Finally, AV-SLT denounces that the decision to indirectly manage the parks and gardens service is made behind the back of the competent body, which is the Plenary. And the government group does so intentionally, to avoid not only debate and public criticism of this scandalous decision, but also to avoid having to recognize that a few months ago they denied that the service would be privatized.
What happened is nothing more than further proof of the terrible management of these government councilors, to which is added the closure of the shelter for abused women, which was also attempted to be hidden by claiming that it was only a change in management that would be assumed by the Cabildo, without it knowing anything about it.
