At around 9:47 a.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert reporting a collision between a bus and a motorcycle on the GC-200 highway. Veneguera intersection, municipality of Mogán, in which the motorcyclist required medical assistance due to serious injuries.
The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources and the SUC ambulance personnel upon arrival at the scene of the accident could only confirm the death of the motorcyclist due to injuries incompatible with life.
The Civil Guard carried out the corresponding report and Mogán Civil Protection collaborated in the device deployed in the area.
