The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Agüimes, on August 04, arrested a man and a woman, aged 34 and 21 respectively, both with police records. The man is accused of crimes of the same nature, as alleged perpetrators of a crime. crime of robbery with force in things and a crime of theft in two livestock farms, stealing 35 heifers from one and 7 lambs from the other, all of them still without ear tags,
accessing the properties during the night of last July 25.
The Civil Guard began the police investigation following complaints filed by the injured parties on July 26 (maleras) and July 27 (lambs) respectively, denouncing that the perpetrators of the criminal acts, in order to access one of the farms, they had to break a padlock that kept the cable ready to prevent vehicle access to the farms, they also broke the fence and the mesh of an area enclosed as a corral, where the 35 machorras were.
On the other hand, in the second farm the perpetrators gained access by jumping the perimeter delimitation of the stable where the cattle were, thus being able to steal the 7 lambs.
The Civil Guard began the appropriate investigations after one of the injured parties reported that he had seen the advertisement on social networks of a goat wandering around the area of Cruce de Arinaga, recognizing it as his, being able to recover the animal and later another one in the same town. .
The acting Agents, with the data provided by the complainant, carried out the pertinent investigations and investigations to locate the alleged perpetrators of the criminal acts. Therefore, they began to search the areas surrounding the Arinaga Crossing, since it was predicted that the criminals could be hiding the stolen livestock in that area and surrounding areas, where the two recovered goats had appeared.
The Civil Guard carried out the appropriate police investigations and various efforts to clarify the events that occurred, which noticed the presence at a bus stop of two people with a
extensive history of police records (including animal theft) in a nervous attitude, as well as the girlfriend of one of them waiting for them in a car, who were meeting with another person, who had an adaptable mixed vehicle in the same place.
The agents, after making a change of direction, realized that the mixed vehicle was no longer in the area, leaving the other vehicle still in the area, with only two occupants. Subsequently, the acting agents went to a ravine in the municipality of Agüimes carrying out a search in the surrounding area, when upon reaching an abandoned well, they saw the mixed vehicle with the two people who had left the bus stop, transporting from the well several goats up to said vehicle.
