It goes without saying that political vocation and commitment is compatible with life. With enjoyment, joy, family, friendships, celebrations and pleasures.
Those of us who 'are' in political action do not wear a raincoat that is impervious to personal criticism nor are we made of material that is unbreakable to gratuitous attacks.
We are aware of what 'the public' entails and what exposure to 'criticism' means.
What is unjustifiable is that all of this questions the true reason why one decides to be on the political front line, which is to improve people's lives by putting the general interest first, from commitment, vocation, public service, humility and respect. that all people deserve.
The politician in his exercise must have a duty, an obligation and it is not having to show his private life, and even if this is the case, his freedom should be respected, in the same way that all people want ours to be respected.
What a politician is obliged to do is the impeccable clarity and transparency that must guide his or her management. With these and all of them, let's use one of the greatest democratic and pedagogical exercises that exist, respect for all people.
