The Civil Guard arrests a person for drug trafficking in Puerto Rico

 

The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Puerto Rico-Mogán, arrested on the morning of last August 17 a 31-year-old person with a police record, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health (drug trafficking), when carrying among his belongings 21 grams of a brown resinous substance, apparently hashish and money in the municipality of Mogán.

 

Knowledge of the facts

 

The Civil Guard, in the exercise of its specific functions of investigation and prevention of crime in matters of Citizen Security, on August 17 observed an individual with a manufactured cigarette in his hand, supposedly hashish, proceeding to carry out a further inspection. exhaustive search of his belongings in an area designated for this purpose, since there was sufficient evidence to carry out said task. Therefore, the agents located inside a fanny pack type bag a transparent plastic bag with a piece of brown resinous substance, apparently hashish.

 

Likewise, 465 euros divided into banknotes of various values ​​were also seized, of which the alleged perpetrator of the events could not prove their origin, since he is currently unemployed.

 

For all these reasons, the agents proceeded to arrest the alleged perpetrator of the events for a crime against public health (drug trafficking).

 

Finally, it should be noted that the detainee has a police record for a similar crime for which he has been investigated, as well as a crime against property and a crime of injuries, in addition to multiple administrative infractions for the consumption or possession of narcotic substances in public places, and disorderly conduct.

 

The proceedings carried out for this purpose were made available to the Court acting as Guard of the town of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, meaning that the intervened substance will be sent to the Functional Health Area of ​​Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, so that it can proceed to weighing, analysis and study of it.
